Dr. Janet Gilbert
Originally from Ridgewood New Jersey, Dr. Gilbert completed her undergraduate education at Wells College, Aurora, New York, and was the recipient of the Ruth Chamberlain Kotch Award.
After completing her Master's Degree in Information Sciences at Long Island University, she earned her Florida State License in Massage Therapy in 1992. Wishing to excel further in the natural healing services, she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic, Chesterfield, Missouri in 1996 where she served as Unit Director for Community and Yorkshire Health Centers. She also received postgraduate acupuncture training from Logan College of Chiropractic and New York Chiropractic College, Seneca Falls, New York. In 1999, she completed her fellowship from the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture, Carefree, Arizona.
Actively pursuing continuing education, Dr. Gilbert has taken post graduate courses in Clinical Neurology, Acupuncture, Nutritional Biochemistry, Applied Kinesiology, Electrodermal Screening, Auriculotherapy, Live Blood Microscopy, Bioenergetics Medicine, Laser Therapy, and Electro-Meridian Imaging. She maintains membership in the Florida Chiropractic Association.
